Welcome to the web site of Gammadot Rheology. Our skills and knowledge are based on almost two decades of providing rheology and materials characterisation support to the plastics and rubber industries. From applying rheology to quality control, failure analysis and process optimisation issues, to providing accurate materials property data for flow simulation software packages such as Moldflow & Sigmasoft 3D, Gammadot is able to offer you a variety of standard and custom solutions to all your flow and thermal properties requirements in a confidential & timely manner.

The single most important parameter in the processing of a molten polymer is the viscosity function of the material – if it doesn't flow you can't process it! This parameter is highly sensitive to material structure. Rheological measurements can detect discrete changes in structure through flow behaviour, and are therefore fast & accurate methods of providing quality control for all aspects of the process. Whether it be screening incoming raw materials to discriminate batch to batch variance, avoiding extrusion problems such as melt fracture by mapping the critical shear stresses at which the phenomena occurs, or determining thermal degradation in failed components caused by inadequate drying of material / excessive thermal history within the process, Gammadot has a rheometer able to provide this information in a fast & reproducible manner.
